How To Make Your Own Flashcards

Making the cards is fairly simple. First you need to print out one of the sets above. If possible, use higher-quality, thicker printing paper. If your printer will accept card stock use it.

Once the flashcards are printed out, cut them out long-ways (don't cut down the middle of the sheet) so that you can fold them over to create a front and a back.

There are a couple of ways that you can do this. If you want to glue the front and back together, I would recommend using a glue stick or a very small amount of glue.

You don't want the glue to soak through the paper. This won't be a problem if you use high-quality, resume-type sheets.

You could also tape the front/back together with some clear tape along the edges. This will help to keep the corners and sides from getting bent or ripped.

If you have a laminate machine, even better. Use it.

If you just used standard paper to print out the flashcards, you may have to slip some card stock between the front and back so there is no image bleed-through.
